The Mismatched Socks

Wearing mismatched socks is silly but fun! πŸ˜€ And doing it for a greater purpose is beyond amazing!

World Youth Alliance is celebrating World Down Syndrome Day 2017 in the European Parliament. You can join the campaign by sharing a photo/video of you wearing mismatched socks on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or/and YouTube. Challenge 3 friends to do the same. Don’t forget to tag @WYAEurope and @FondLejeauneEN and use the hashtag #SockBattle4DS. Look at my campaign pictures. πŸ™‚

While the media is filled with gossips, labeling of people and news of controversy, lets give our share of time to this issue. Make sure that you do research on the symptoms of Down Syndrome and understand the importance of the campaign.

  1. I visited your campaign. It is a very nice campaign. About compression socks, I would say compression is not only a fashion statement, these socks are also used to improve the blood circulation. The research has shown that compression socks can be used as medical treatment. That is the reason that doctors recommend to Diabetes patients to use of compression socks. This is also a fashion statement but athletes wear compression socks to maintain their legs blood flow. Thanks for the post!
